STILL STUMPED ON WHAT TO READ? TRY SEARCHING BY LEXILE MEASURES.
Lexile measures describe a student’s reading ability and are often reported on state testing results that might look like “900L”. Lexile measures range from below 0L for beginning readers and texts to above 1600L for advanced readers and texts. You can find your child’s Lexile measure in year-end state test reports as well as from other classroom tests and reading programs. Or, ask your child’s teacher. It’s not necessary to know your child’s Lexile measure to use Find a Book.
