Claudette

Claudette has been part of the Killingly Library since 2002 and serves as Library Director. Before stepping into her leadership role, she spent 14 years in children’s services, where she developed a lasting passion for helping young readers discover the joy of books. One of her favorite parts of librarianship is connecting people with stories they’ll enjoy. While she enjoys recommending books across all genres, she’s especially drawn to psychological thrillers that keep readers guessing until the very last page. Outside the library, Claudette enjoys listening to music, with playlists that change to match her mood, and spending quiet evenings immersed in a good book.

Kim

Kim is an avid reader who loves nonfiction and is always excited to learn something new. She also has a soft spot for historical fiction, a passion that began with the Little House on the Prairie series back in fifth grade. When she's not reading, you'll find her crafting, cooking, or tending to her garden. Kim loves spending time outdoors, whether she's hiking through the beauty of Acadia National Park, exploring the White Mountains, or relaxing on the beaches near First Landing State Park. Most of all, she treasures making memories with her family wherever their adventures take them.​
