The former vice-president of the United States chronicles the difficult final year of his son's battle with cancer, his efforts to balance his responsibilities to the country and his family, and the lessons he learned.
This is a personal recount of the loss of his son but more so a tale of his experiences as a Vice President. Biden discusses his 8 years ' worth of diplomatic endeavors on behalf of the U.S. during crucial times. What is particularly interesting is Biden's experiences with Putin bullying smaller countries as well as his response to request to cease his aggression. A good read and a very timely one.
