"You don't have to be a hockey lover to enjoy this book. It's about an 11-year-old boy named Conor who lived for ice hockey. It's not just about his love of the sport, but the relationships among Conor, his father, Conor's dog, Sinbad, and his friends. I loved reading about how Conor and his father overcame the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and the sacrifices that go along with it. This book was inspiring, hopeful and well written. Good for grades 4-6"
